Currently Australia cricket team is travelling South Africa. They started their tour at the end of February, 2018 and started their competition with an warm up match against South Africa A team which consisted of three day. Their tour in South Africa consists of four Test matches. There are no schedule for T20I or ODI series. Their main tournament started in 1st March, 2018 and in the first two Tests, Australia and South Africa won a match each and so, the series is now even. But in the 3rd Test, South Africa got a big victory at Cape Town. The match seems totally unchallenged.

Besides, there are some scandals are revealed in the 3rd Test. Some players of Australia were charged to ball tampering. Along with skipper Steve Smith, total three players were charged and removed from the squad. Cameron Bancroft, David Warner and Steve Smith are ruled out from the squad for almost a year. Though, ICC just suspended them for a match and took their full match fee. But Cricket Australia (CA) removed them for at least a year. It was so pathetic that player like Smith joined in the group for acting ball tampering.

Now, the 3rd Test between Australia and South Africa was started in 22nd March, 2018 at Newlands Cricket Ground, Cape Town. Due to ball tampering Smith ruled out from his captaincy and Tim Paine was given the charge in 4th day of the match. However, Australia was lost the toss and came to bowl first. At the Cape Town South Africa came to bat first for their first innings. By the remarkable and unbeaten century of Dean Elgar, Proteas scored 311 runs where Dean scored 141 runs and ended the innings with not out. Pat Cummins took four wickets in the match. Proteas played full 97.5 overs and lost all wickets in the first innings. Later, team Australia came to bat for their first innings. They could not meet the opponent’s score but finished their innings scoring 255 runs in 69.5 overs. Cameron Bancroft scored 77 runs for the team. For Proteas Morne Morkel took four wickets so far.

Later, in the 2nd innings South Africa came to bat once again for the 2nd innings when they scored 373 runs totally. In 112.2 overs they lost all wickets where Aiden Markram scored 84 runs totally. Pat Cummins took three wickets for Australia in the 2nd innings. He took total seven wickets considering two innings. However, in the 2nd innings Australia lost all wickets early when they scored 107 runs in 39.4 overs where Morne Morkel took five wickets for Proteas.
