Pakistan won T20I series against Scotland

Pakistan cricket team is currently visiting Scotland. It seems that they are on their visiting schedule. Earlier, the visited Ireland, then England and now Scotland. In Scotland team Pakistan was scheduled to play a T20I series against the local Scotland team. The series has recently finished. Pakistan won T20I series against Scotland by 2 – 0. The series consisted of two matches where earlier, team Scotland beat England in ODI competition. So, they were in charming mood and their confidence level were so high. But against Pakistan they failed to use the same weapon where team Pakistan had most powerful bowling lineup as usual.

Pakistan won T20I series against Scotland

Besides, team Pakistan is currently standing on the 1st position in ICC T20I ranking where Scotland is not among top ten. So, they are really weaker in T20 format.

In 12th JUne, 2018 the inaugural T20I match between the started where Pakistan won by 48 runs. The both two matches took place at The Grange Club, Edinburgh. In next day, the 2nd match between Scotland and Pakistan was staged. In 13th June, 2018 the 2nd day/ night match took place where Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first.

So, came to bat team Pakistan scored total 166 runs in 20 overs. They played well and in the meantime, they lost six wickets. Shoaib Malik scored highest 49 runs in 22 balls. The target was handsome but could be chased. But in 82 runs team Scotland lost all wickets. Pakistani bowlers tied their innings earlier. Scottish team played total 14.4 overs totally.

Fakhar Zaman and Ahmed Shehzad started the innings for Pakistan. Openers added 60 runs when Shehzad was gone with 24 runs. Hussain Talat came later but scored 17 runs. Team Pakistan lost five wickets so early in 98 runs. But in the 6th wicket partnership between Malik and Shadab, they added another 50 runs where Malik remained not out with 49 runs and Shadab scored 17 runs so far. Leask took three wickets and Sole took two wickets for Scotland in the match.

Munsey and captain Coetzer started to chase for Scotland. In 0 runs opener Munsey was gone. In 21 runs Berrington was gone as well. He scored 20 runs so far. Just three runs later, captain of the team was gone with 1 run. MacLeod scored highest 25 runs where Sharif scored 10 more runs so far. Total three players of the team touched two figure runs and rest were failed completely. Pakistani bowlers bowled very well and opponent batsmen could not stand longer in front of them . In 14.4 overs they lost all wickets. Faheem Ashraf took highest three wickets and Usman Khan took two wickets so far.
