Kevin Pietersen didn’t let an opportunity go waste to take a dig at Alastair Cook as he took advantage of a tip-off from Shane Watson on Twitter.

Pietersen, an England discard, is known to have bitter relations with Cook, country’s Test captain, blaming the latter as the reason behind his disconnection from the team.

So, when the Australian all-rounder Watson decided to serve up a contentious question to Pietersen, he couldn’t resist himself from lashing out at Cook.

“@KP24 I really want to know why @Ian_Bell isn’t being recalled to the Test team. A beautiful batsmen with a great record#class#22Hundreds,” wrote Watson after Ian Bell was excluded from England’s squad for Pakistan series.

“I reckon Cook won’t pick anyone that could jeopardise any of his records, Watto!” replied Pietersen, apparently juxtaposing himself to Bell.

No wonder, Watson is no big fan of Cook!
