Zaheer Khan may have retired from all forms of cricket quite a while ago, but the legendary left-arm pacer has still got some of it left in him.

The 40-year-old, who is currently employed in the coaching staff of Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL), bowled for a while in one of the team’s net sessions ahead of the Delhi Capitals’ clash on Friday.

A video was later posted on Mumbai Indians’ official Twitter handle, wherein Zaheer can be seen turning back the clock while serving up a few lessons to team’s left-arm fast bowler Barinder Singh Sran.

No wonder, even Shane Bond – another member of the coaching staff – looked on in awe.

Meanwhile, the two teams will look to inch closer towards sealing a place in the play-offs when they lock horns at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium.

Both Mumbai and Delhi have won five off the eight matches played so far. The winner of the upcoming contest is set to strengthen its stronghold on the second position in standings.
