India cricket team which is also known as Men in Blue is travelling England in recent time. They have a great tournament ahead in England where they are scheduled to play a Test series, a ODI series and a T20I series against England. It will be the home tournament of England and the tournament started with T20I competition. The whole tournament consists of two months where the inaugural T20I between them was executed in 3rd July, 2018. In the match, team India won by 8 wickets against England and took lead by 1 – 0 in T20I competition.

The first match between England and India took place at Old Trafford, Manchester in 3rd July which was a day/night competition. In the home venue, local team England lost the toss and came to bat first. They scored 159 runs in exchange for eight wickets in selected 20 overs where wicketkeeper Jos Buttler scored highest 69 runs for the English team. Later, India chased the score successfully where their opener KL Rahul made a unbeaten century of 101. He faced 54 balls only and made the score.

Jason Roy and Buttler opened the innings for England. Openers added 50 runs when Roy was gone with 30 runs. Buttler made another partnership with Hales and together they added few more runs. Rest players failed to score two figure runs except Willey. Buttler scored 69 runs highest where Willey remained not out with 29 runs so far. By losing eight wickets team England scored 159 runs in 20 overs. Kuldeep Yadav took highest five wickets for India where Yadav took two wickets so far.

We all know that India has the most strongest batting side and they opened the innings with Dhawan and Sharma. Dhawan failed to impress the audiences but scored 4 runs where Sharma scored 32 runs so far. Later, Rahul and captain Kohli led the team to victory where both of them remained not out. Rahul scored 101 runs and Kohli scored 20 runs so far. By losing two wickets in 18.2 overs team India reached the destination. English bowlers were too expensive where Willey and Rashid took one wicket each for the team.

BY winning the inaugural match, team India went ahead in the T20I series and they have to win one more match to secure the series.
