England is in bat for 2nd innings at London

Team Pakistan is currently visiting England. They are scheduled to play a Test series against the local team that consists of two matches. Earlier Pakistan Cricket team visited Ireland and played the only Test match against Irish team. It was the first Test of Ireland and in the match, they faced defeat. Now, in England, the inaugural Test between Pakistan and England have already started. In the first match, England is in bat for 2nd innings at London  according to the latest news.

England is in bat for 2nd innings at London

The first Test between them has started in 24th May, 2018 at Lord’s in London. In the match, local team England won the toss and decided to bat first. One of their player Dominic Bess made his Test debut for England. So, team England came to bat for the first innings. As local team they have known their ground nature very well but they were fallen into batting disaster.

Cook and Stoneman started the innings for England. In 12 runs opening partnership was broken. Stoneman was gone with 4 runs only. Later, captain Root came up but he also added only 4 runs. Later, Mala joined with Cook. He scored 6 runs so far. Top three players added only 14 runs and so, team England fallen into pressure. Later, Bairstow made a partnership with Cook but only for a little. Both of them added almost 50 runs when Bairstow was gone with 27 runs. Cook played comparatively better than them. He scored 70 runs highest so far. Stokes added also 38 runs and Buttler scored 14 runs for the team. In 58.2 overs team England lost all wickets and in the meantime they scored 184 runs so far.

Mohammad Abbas and Hasan Ali are the two bowlers of Pakistan and both of them took four wickets each. Amir took one and Faheem took rest wicket so far.

Later, Pakistan came to bat for the first innings. Once again in 12 runs opening partnership was broken. Imam was gone with 4 runs. But in 2nd wicket partnership between Azhar and Haris, they played well. They added more than 70 runs jointly. Azhar made a fifty and Haris scored 39 runs so far. Asad Shafiq and Babar Azam also played well. Babar was retired out with 68 runs where Asad scored 59 runs so far. Most of their players got score in the first innings. Shadab scored 52 runs, Faheem scored 37 runs and Amir scored 24 runs so far. They scored 363 runs and lost all wickets in 114.3 overs. Anderson and Stokes took three wickets each for the team England.
