VIDEO: Boxer Tommy Broadbent gets KO’d after showboating for entire fight against Florian Marku

There are times when showboating can go wrong.
British professional boxer Tommy Broadbent (8-6, 2 KOs) learnt that the hard way after being stopped by Florian Marku (4-0, 4 KOs) in their welterweight clash at the O2 Arena over the weekend.
During the scheduled six-rounder, the duo taunted each other every now and then with the local boy being the aggressor.
Every time Broadbent dodged a wild swing, he mocked Marku by placing his right glove over his forehead.
That was all until a solid left hook from Marku put Broadbent down to his knees in the fourth round. No wonder, he couldn’t beat the count.
The bout ended on a good note though, with Broadbent clapping for Marku while the result was being announced. They also exchanged a warm embrace in the end.
Moral of the story: Showboat only if you can back it with your performance.
