Former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has hit back at Wladimir Klitschko over ‘fart in the wind’ comment.

Fury, who hasn’t fought since upsetting Klitschko back in 2016, has long been in talks to trade punches with reigning champion Anthony Joshua.

In a recent interview with Sunday Times, however, Klitschko said that Fury stands no chance against Joshua and that he’s like ‘fart in the wind.’

“[Fury] is like a fart in the wind it is there and it is gone. In the history of boxing there are a lot of examples of this kind of guy,” the Ukrainian had said.

Reacting to Klitschko’s words, Fury told Behind The Gloves: “Well that’s typical Wladimir Klitschko style, he could never be able to give me the credibility that I did deserve.

“Even on the night in Germany he couldn’t give himself the effort to say he lost to a better man and he did.”

Furthermore, the Brit juxtaposed his points win with Joshua’s recovery-from-knockdown stoppage of Klitschko.

“I’m sure him and Joshua are chum buddies, and they support each other and whatever, but in hindsight, we know who gave Wladimir the hardest fight,” he said.

“Joshua won by the skin of his teeth and had to climb off the canvas, Wladimir couldn’t land a punch on me in 12 rounds. So it’s pretty easy for the fight fans to see.”

This seems to be like a never-ending rivalry, doesn’t it?
