Indian boxers Neeraj Goyat and Vikas Krishan took to social media to last out at Vijender Singh over his comments on rival Amir Khan’s choice of opponents.

Vijender recently blasted Khan for fighting ‘kids’ after the welterweight star fought little-known Billy Dib after his original opponent Goyat pulled out due to injury.

“Let him first stop playing around with kids, then we can have a bout of grown-ups,” the unbeaten Vijender said after being asked if he would ever fight Khan.

The comments, however, didn’t go down well with Goyat, who challenged Vijender to lock horns with Vikas Krishan, a Commonwealth Games and Asian Games gold medallist.

“Calling me kid @boxervijender I’m the only Indian boxer who has defeated a world champion in his own country #canxu #china,” Goyat wrote on Twitter.

“I want you to face @officialvkyadav in me and @amirkingkhan undercard in november this year. Are you ready?”

Krishan, unbeaten in his two fights as a pro, was quick to accept the fight. “@boxervijender neeraj and @amirkingkhan are of same weight category let them fight,” he tweeted.

“As @GoyatNeeraj said we are of same weight category,we must fight under their card in November this year. Let’s face each other in the ring. @trboxing”

Over to Vijender.
