Former undisputed heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson, expressed his admiration for the sport’s bad boy, Tyson Fury, as he divulged that he likes to watch the latter trade punches in the ring.

Fury extended his unbeaten run to (25-0, 18 KOs) after becoming the first boxer in 11 years to defeat Ukrainian veteran Wladimir Klitschko (64-4, 53 KOs) following his unanimous decision win that saw him take the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO, The Ring, and lineal heavyweight titles.

That said, Tyson believes that Fury has proved his competency in the ring despite the hullabaloo surrounding the latter’s controversial behavior.

“I don’t know, I’m not watching any fighters. One guy, Tyson Fury, I like to watch him because he has my name and stuff, so, yeah other than that, no. I like Tyson Fury,” the 49-year-old was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.

“Yeah, I like him, I like Tyson Fury. He is the only one that beat him [Wladimir Klitschko] out of the 23 defences. All those other guys were supposed to be tough guys and great fighters, but they didn’t beat him.”

Meanwhile, Fury is scheduled for a rematch with Klitschko on July 9 at the Manchester Arena.
