Floyd Mayweather is apparently coming out of retirement on a full-time basis.

The 50-0 American boxing champion had called a time upon his illustrious career after stopping UFC star Conor McGregor last year. Last week, however, he revealed he will be launching yet another return to the ring, trading punches with Manny Paquiao for the second time.

Adding more spice to it, Mayweather is set to fight twice before a rematch with the Filipino legend, according to a report by TMZ.

The 40-year-old is looking for kickboxers and MMA fighters, the report added, with the event set to roll out in Tokyo, Japan, in an obvious quest to commercialize and popularize the sport in Asia.

“Before Pacquiao rematch, I will be back in Tokyo for a huge boxing event,” Mayweather confirmed.

Mayweather’s comeback bout is expected to be held on the eve of New Year, naturally postponing the Pacquiao rematch to next year.

Mayweather had defeated Pacquiao on points in what was termed as the ‘fight of the century’ back in 2015.
