Liverpool took on Stoke City in the Opening game of the Premier League, and the Reds started the season with a good form where they left off last season, their Striker Danial Sturridge scored the opening goal of the first Premier league weekend of 2013-2014 with a superb finish from outside the box, as he drilled a left footed shot in the bottom right corner, low and hard.

Liverpool started the game strongly, they had a few good chances in the match against Stoke City and Anfield crowd was getting a little bit of anxious towards the end of first half when score was 0-0 and than Sturridge popped up with a great goal to make it 1-0 for the home side.
