Manchester United took on Australian A League All star side in Sydney for their 2nd pre season game and it went quite well for the English Champions who socred two goals in the first half to take a 2-0 lead into the break. United welcomed back Robin Van Persie who joined the squad a week later than the usual time while Wilfred Zaha started his first Manchester United game alongside Lingard, Giggs, Welback. Carrick in the midfield.

Manchester United [2 – 0] – Danny Welbeck doubled the lead with a sublime pass from Ryan Giggs and striker made no mistake in slotting the ball home.

2nd Half [4 – 1] – Manchester United concded a goal at the start of 2nd half but they restored their 2 goal lead with goal coming from Lingard while Wlebeck scored again to make a comfortable nights work for United with a 4-1 win and they move to Japan now where they will be playing Yokohama
