Brazil started to see even more of the ball after going 1-0 down as Croatia were willing to sit back and absorb the pressure and try to hit home side on the counters. Neymar was given a yellow card for elbowing Modric and on any other day it could have been a red card. Though straight after the yellow card indcided Neymar scored with a low left footed drive in the bottom corner to make it 1-1 on the night.
The game was 1-1 at the break and Brazil looked much the better side after getting back on lever terms, After the break Neymar scored another goal but this time from a spot kick to send home fans into frenzy.
Your title says it’s 3-1 but the header of the article says it’s 2-1. Needs to be fixed for consistency.
So I take from these replays it’s better that Brazil is lucky than good. Can’t wait till they run into another powerhouse. An own goal to start the cup shows their defense is suspect. First Neymar goal was a miskick, look closely,,hence luck especially from that distance. The foul for the spot was legit the ref could see the hand around the shoulder, hell big white arm and hand on bright yellow jersey. The penalty shot was well, it’s your own to choose an opinion but, Lucky!,, I’ve taken hundreds and I would never plan for one to look like that. Plus his lil studder step almost tripped him. Oscar’s toeball after running through the Croatia defense was long distance and he almost wasn’t going to catch up to it. Hence the toe, but very well done best toeball he could have wished for. Can’t wait to see Brazil come up against. GE, SP, IT, hell their group is a joke so let them have fun for now.
