In a good news for Andy Murray fans, the British tennis star has revealed there’s no pain in his hip currently.

In the lead-up to this year’s Australian Open, Murray had announced he could call a time on his career after Wimbledon as he continues to deal with an injured hip.

In a U-turn now, the 31-year-old has hinted he might continue for a bit longer as he revealed rehab has been going smooth.

“I want to continue playing for sure. I have no pain in my hip anymore,” Murray said during a media interaction.

“The rehab is slow but going pretty well. I just need to wait and see how things progress. If it’s possible I would love to compete again.”

Murray, who has played just thrice in 2019, crashed out in the first round of the Australian Open after suffering a five-set defeat at the hands of Roberto Bautista Agut.

He could make his comeback at the Queen’s in the run-up to Wimbledon.
