Young Australian tennis player Akira Santillan couldn’t hold back his emotions after losing to Ruben Bemelmans of Belgium in the second round of qualifying at Wimbledon on Wednesday.

After going down 6-7 6-3 12-10 in a nail-biter, Santillan was so frustrated that he headed out to an open field, where he took out all his five rackets and smashed them with all his power.

Journalist John Horn took to Twitter to share a video of the incident (CLICK HERE TO WATCH), who also revealed the world No. 205 walked off the court saying he should retire.

Horn further revealed Santillan’s compatriot Nick Kyrgios, who was watching on from the stands, empathized with the Santillan, saying he would reach out to him.

As for Bemelmans, he is scheduled to lock horns with Donald Young of United States in the final round of qualifying on Thursday.

The main draw of Wimbledon gets under way on July 1.
