SURVIVOR SERIES – The Last Man Standing

The WWE Survivor Series, held annually at U.S. Thanksgiving time, features matches between teams and sometimes individual matches as well. The rules state that competitors can tag in and out until they are eliminated. This continues until all members of one of the two competing teams have been eliminated. The system allows for interesting combinations. The last survivor of one team, for instance, could end up facing as many as four members of the other team.

The Survivor Series is an annual professional wrestling pay-per-view event. It is one of the “Big Four” PPV, along with Wrestle Mania, the Royal Rumble and Summer Slam, as it is one of the original four pay-per-views produced by WWE.

The event is usually characterized by having tag-team elimination matches, usually featuring teams of four or five wrestlers. These matches are generally referred to simply as “Survivor Series matches”. There are multiple traditional survivor series matches held at Survivor Series.

Survivor Series has taken its specialty also due to Legend like The Undertaker had made his debut at Survivor Series 1990. Superstar like The Rock who had made his historic debut at Survivor Series 1996. And The Iconic Sting made his impact felt in the closing moments of Survivor Series high-stakes Traditional Elimination Tag Team main event in 2014.
