Russians banned in the Paralympic

After making a lot of trouble, Russian athletes took part at the ongoing Rio de Janeiro Olympic. However, starting from next month’s Paralympic Games any Russian athletes will not be able to take part.

Disabled athletes usually take part at Paralympic.

At the beginning of the Olympic event, due to doping scandal, Russian athletes was dropped from Olympic. However, the Olympic Committee’s review give them the opportunity to take part. However, it was determined for some athletes. As a result, the Russians cannot take part with full team in Brazil.

Though 271 athletes take part in the Summer Olympics but the The International Paralympic Committee does not allow to take part Russian athletes in Paralympic.

The International Paralympics Committee President Sir Philip Craven said, “Russia’s anti-doping system is completely broken. There are signs of corruption at every step. They are directly involved in the disgusting incident like doping. As a result, any of the athletes of Russia will not be able to take part in Paralympic.”

From 7th September the Paralympic event will start and it will be on screen until 18th September. Brazil is the host nation of this event as well.
