Premier League new comers to watch out for 2014-15

Its less than a week to go when premier league season will get underway with its full excitment and drama today we take a look at 10 of the new comers in premier league which you must watch out for.  A few names in the list are there because of the big money transfer and a few which might turn out to be bargains of the seasons. So lets go ahead as we look at 10 newcomers in upcoming seasom.

Alexis Sanchez:

Former Barcelona man could never really establish himself in the catalunya setup but that does not mean that he did not perform his 39 goals in 88 games he played for the spanish giants is a good return considering he is not an out and out striker. Arsenal fans will be happy to see another big signing after Mesut Ozil joined them last year but only problem is his main playing position (Winger) and Arsenal already have quite a few of them.

But he was playing under the shadow of Messi and we all know that barcelona play around messi and its hard for others to shine. Sanchez provided some great performances in world cup and from the looks of things he is a perfect fit for Arsenal.

Ander Herrera

Manchester United finaly signed a creating midfielder who might well be able to fill the gap left by Paul Scholes. Herrera’s gameplay is similar to what Xavi and Iniesta but he dont score many goals which is kind of a shame. But his passing ability is pretty awesome and he will keep the team ticking along with his shot passes.

Bafetimbi Gomis

Gomis has been making headlines in French league for a while now, he is powerful strong and has an eye for goal. Though his finishing is not up to the par which kind of delayed his deprature from french league to some bigger club. At Swansea he is likely to play alongside Wilfried Bony and in the few pre season games they played together they seem to gel pretty well.

Raheem Sterling

Sterling is not a new comer but he is on the verge of signing a new deal with Liveprool which will get his salary almost trippled, currently he is getting around 35K gmp a week and the new contract is rumoured to be worth around 100K a week. He had a staller season last year with Liverpool and will be looking to improve on his already great credentials.

Diego Costa:

Superb couple of seasons with Atletico Madrid and a terrible world cup kind of makes his signing for Chelsea a bit confused, he is a great striker no doubt but so was Fernando Torres, Andriye Shevchenko, Damba Ba etc. Will he fit in Chelsea gameplay ? which revolves around attacking midfielders like Hazard, Oscar Willian and Schurrle.

He scored a superb goal in the pre season against Fenerbache and looks set to establish his name in english football.

Rio Ferdinand

One of the great defenders of modern era, his highly successfull manchester united career ended at the end of last season and Harry Redknapp signed him for QPR. He is not the highest paid player in QPR ranks which goes to show that he is not there for only money, he wants to get another good season under his belt before he hang up his boot or visit a retirement home (USA).

Danny Ings

Burnley’s striker Danny Ings is a good striker and he proved that in championship season where he scored 27 goals last season. If he can get even half of those in premier league he will be success at the age of just 21 he set to become on quality premier league striker.

Romelu Lukaku

Yeah right, he is not a new comer but Everton signed him on permanent basis for a club record fee around 28m gbp from chelsea. He had a great last season and will look to improve on his states which were 15 goals in premier league last season.

James Ward-Prowse

Southampton sold many of their last season’s stars but they managed to sign another young promising english player in James Ward-Prowse. He is a midfielder and can play in different roles, pretty good at set pieces and scoring on freekickss. Stage is set for him to take his career to next level.
