Ayna’s Records in First Day at Track

Ethiopian Almaz Ayna, won gold medal in 10 thousands meters race. She also won this title with braking world record.

Ayana took 29: 17: 45 second to reach the finishing line. Which was also 10 seconds less the previous timing. 2012 London Olympics bronze medalist Kenyan star Vivian Ceriot has improved. Won Bronze with 29:32:53 minutes timing. Ethiopian Tirunesh Dibaba, who won Olympic gold in London, finished from third with 29:42:56 seconds timing. That’s the best timing of 10 thousand meters of the track for her.

Kenyan Alice Aprot Nawowuna finished from 4th. This is the first time in the Olympic history, all top 4 women finished the race in 30 seconds.
