India’s Yuki Bhambri is set to end his six-month hiatus at this week’s ATP Tiburon Challenger in California, USA.

The 24-year-old has earned a direct entry into the main draw, where he has been drawn to meet Barbados’ Darian King in the first round. Should he get his campaign off to a winning start, he is likely to go head-on with top seed Benjamin Becker for a place in the quarter-finals.

Once ranked as high as No. 88 in the world, Bhamrbi has now plummeted to No. 282 due to an elbow injury that has kept him out of action since March this year.

However, Bhambri, who is best known for winning the 2009 junior Australian Open title, has been recovering quite well of late, which is evident from the video he posted on his Facebook page.
