Marcus Willis, who rose to fame after a fairy-tale run at Wimbledon this year, is all set to make his return to competitive tennis.

The 25-year-old Brit took to his official Twitter account to confirm his participation for the next month’s Erste Bank Open, an ATP 500 event, which is scheduled to be held from October 22-30 on indoor hard courts of Vienna, Austria.

“Back on court for ATP 500 in Vienna (October 22nd), preparation starts now,” he wrote.

Willis hasn’t played a match since his second-round appearance at Wimbledon, where he qualified for the qualifiers before making it to the main draw of the tournament. He, then, upset Richard Berankis in the first round, but lost to Roger Federer in straight sets.

Willis is currently ranked No. 500 in the world rankings.
