Canadian tennis star Milos Raonic has set his eyes upon winning Grand Slam titles and ascending to the numero uno position in the world rankings.

Raonic, who nearly fulfilled his desire of bagging a major by reaching the Wimbledon finals before losing to Andy Murray recently, is going through the best season of his career.

“[My goals are] to win Grand Slams and be the No. 1 player in the world,” Vogue.com quoted Raonic, who is known for his big serve. “[My serve is] accurate and intimidating,” he added.

The 25-year-old accomplished his best-ever No. 4 ranking in May but has slipped to No. 7 presently.

Having last played at Wimbledon earlier this month, he is scheduled to partake at the next week’s Rogers Cup, where he has been seeded sixth in the main draw.

Raonic is 37-9 so far this season.
