Yes, no, yes, no! Wait, maybe?

That’s what happened between Kyle Edmund and a ball boy at the French Open on Saturday.

Britain’s Edmund was up against Fabio Fognini of Italy in a third-round encounter on court Suzanne Lenglen.

During the third game of the third set, Edmund was involved in a hilarious confusion with a ball boy.

While Edmund wanted to give his towel back to the ball boy, the latter had his attention on collecting the extra balls as well.

The result? Well, Edmund dropped the balls and also his towel on the red dirt.

Despite taking a 2-1 lead, Fognini fought back to register a 6-3 4-6 3-6 6-4 6-4 victory.

Fognini, the No. 18 seed, will next face either 3rd seed Marin Cilic of Croatia or American Steve Johnson for a place in the quarter-finals.

This is the second consecutive day a ball boy has made the news in Paris.

On Friday, a ball boy was floored after bumping into Damir Dzumhur during his five-set loss to Alexander Zverev.
