Underarm serves are becoming a fad these days.

Nick Kyrgios used the deceiving tactic quite often at the Miami Open this week. So surprised was one of his opponents, Dusan Lajovic, that he didn’t even take the effort to run forward and return it, making it go down as an ace.

Now, Marko Djokovic, the younger brother of 15-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic, has joined in the bandwagon.

Playing alongside Carlos Gomez-Herrera of Spain at the Marbella Challenger, Marko decided to surprise their opponents, top seeds Kevin Krawietz and Andreas Mies, by serving underarm towards the end of the first set.

And although they managed to win that point, Marko and Carlos went on to lose 1-6 3-6 in just 57 minutes.

As for Krawietz and Mies, they are scheduled to face Facundo Bagnis and Guillermo Duran next.
