Robberies are happening at the Roland Garros this year, according to a report by La Nacion.

Despite armed security taking care of the season’s second Grand Slam, players and their entourage are reportedly being robbed of their stuff kept in the locker room while they are away on the court.

It all started with Franco Davin, Fabio Fognini’s coach, losing his kit bag consisting of his passport and Green Card besides some money during the Italian star’s first round match against Spain’s Pablo Andujar on May 29.

One person, walking away with a bag and his face away from the CCTV cameras, is believed to be the face behind the robberies.

The suspect is believed to be a former French tennis player himself, even as his name is being withheld due to lack of evidence.

In another such incident, Argentina’s Guido Pella, had his locker padlock breached and his expensive wallet stolen while losing to Rafael Nadal in the second round on May 31.

Shocking, isn’t it?
