Stanislas Wawrinka Rolls into Chennai Open Semifinals

Defending champion Stanislas Wawrinka advanced to the semifinals of the Aircel Chennai Open 2015 in India with a straight-set win over Gilles Muller on Friday.

The top-seeded Swiss looked to seal quick things as he needed an hour and 25 minutes to pull off a 6-2, 7-6 conquest of his 46th-ranked counterpart.

Meanwhile, 3rd seed Roberto Bautista Agut of Spain and 4th seed David Goffin of Belgium also entered the last-four stage, following their respective quarterfinal wins.

In doubles, tournament favorites Leander Paes and Raven Klaasen sailed into the finals with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Pablo Carreno Busta and Guillermo Garcia-Lopez.
