Top-ranked Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic served up a nice gesture towards his family after he accepted a wildcard alongside younger brother Djordje into the doubles draw of this week’s China Open in Beijing.

Djordje, 20, will be playing his maiden pro match along with elder brother Novak. On Saturday, he crashed out of the singles qualifying event after losing out 6-0 6-4 to Italy’s Simona Bolelli to deteriorate his season record to 11-16.

He, however, will look for a better run in the doubles event, when he joins hands with Novak to lock horns with China’s Mao-Xin Gong and New Zealand’s Michael Venus in the opening round of the ATP 500 event here.

This is not the first time that the 28-year-old Novak has featured in an “all Djokovic” team. He, along with Marko (the middle one of the three), have played together on five different occasions, but couldn’t pull off even a single contest.
