Top seed Roger Federer romped his way to the semifinals of the Brisbane International, leaking just one game in his quarterfinal outing on Friday.

The Swiss ace needed just 40 minutes to humiliate 125th-ranked James Duckworth 6-0, 6-1 to storm into the last-four stage, where he is scheduled to meet Grigor ‘Baby Fed’ Dimitrov.

33-year-old Federer fired 12 aces and won 90 per cent of his first-serve points to pull off a serene win Down Under.

“I was very happy the way I played,” a delightful Federer was quoted as saying by the ATP World Tour. “I played aggressive, served well, and then especially on the return I kept the pressure on time and time again.

“Next thing you know, it was like I was running away with the score.”
