Contrasting to his career record, ace Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal has had a huge dip in his form (well, at least his substandard 34-12 record this year says so).

And so, going by his present shape, former Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli has ruled him out of the ‘Big Four’ that comprises of tennis’ giants – Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray besides the Spaniard himself.

“With the honours he has won, yes [he is still in it]. But with his level at the moment, no,” a candid Bartoli was quoted as saying by EuroSport when asked if still considers Nadal as a part of the ‘Big Four’.

“When you play against him the ball is 25 kilometers per hour slower, the opponent doesn’t have the same difficulty to play. When he serves, he can’t go beyond 115 miles per hour. He is exposed in every return,” she added, censuring the southpaw’s power.

Recently, Nadal further tinted his season for the worse after he crashed out of the prestigious Wimbledon Championships (lost to Dustin Brown) as early as in the second round.
