Former World No. 1 Rafael Nadal dropped a place to No. 5 in the latest ATP rankings released Monday.

The Spaniard hasn’t played a match since withdrawing from the French Open due to a wrist injury, thereby failing to defend his Mercedes Cup title in Stuttgart.

Consequently, Nadal conceded 250 points to swap places with the now fourth-ranked Swiss Stanislas Wawrinka, who made the semi-finals of the Rogers Cup this week.

Elsewhere in the Top 10, France’s Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Austria’s Dominic Thiem exchanged positions to be ranked No. 9 and No. 10 respectively.

American Madison Keys, who made the Rogers Cup final (lost to Halep), attained her career-high ranking of No. 9 after she jumped three places to enter the Top 10.
