Ever wondered how do tennis’ Big Four – comprising of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray – get along off court?

Djokovic’s latest words will answer your question!

The Serbian tennis star has revealed – in a nutshell – that he has no issues with Federer, but that’s not exactly case with Nadal and Murray.

“I never had issues with Roger,” Djokovic told Russia’s Novosti.

“I feel maximum respect for him because he had a great influence on all of us and tennis in general,” he added of the 20-time Grand Slam champion.

Furthermore, Djokovic hinted that there exists a sort of rivalry with Nadal and Murray as the trio have come up the ranks in the same generation.

He, however, reiterated that there exists no hatred between them.

“With Nadal and Murray we are of the same generation, we grew up together and they helped me to get where I was,” he said.

“Anyway, I don’t hate anyone, the word “hate” is not in my vocabulary.”

Meanwhile, Djokovic and Nadal are scheduled to resume their on-court rivalry at next week’s Madrid Masters.

While Nadal, the No. 1 seed, has a bye in the first round, 10th-seeded Djokovic is slated for a tough opener in Japan’s Kei Nishikori.
