World No. 1 Novak Djokovic has set his eyes upon subsisting his dominance as he seeks a 13th Grand Slam title at the US Open 2016 that begins Monday.

Djokovic continues to eclipse all of his nemesis including the likes of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, both of whom – with 17 and 14 titles respectively – have more majors than the Serb. That said, he is keen on adding additional feathers to his illustrious cap.

“I obviously had a phenomenal Grand Slam career that I’m very proud of and very grateful for,” he told “I’m 29 at the moment and believe that I’m at a peak of my abilities as a tennis player. I’ll try to keep that peak as consistent and enduring as much as possible.”

Djokovic further revealed his admiration for his top on-court nemesis. “It’s privilege to be mentioned alongside all the legends of the sport that have won 10-plus Grand Slams and made history book. I’m honored to actually play in the active tennis with two of them.”

Seeded No. 1, the Serb is slated to feature on the opening day’s schedule, when he opens his campaign against Poland’s Jerzy Janowicz.
