Nadal Ready for Rio

Rafael Nadal is ready for the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. The Spanish Olympic Committee confirming this information on Thursday, the 14-time Grand Slam winner Nadal has no problem to take place on the Olympic team; there is no problem.

Nadal won Olympic gold in Beijing Olympic 2008. But four years later due to a knee injury and did not play at the London Olympics. 30-year-old tennis sensation is expected to be Spain’s flag-bearer at the opening ceremony of the Olympics on next August 5. But a formality has yet to do in The International Tennis Federation.

Alejandro Blanco, president of the Spanish Olympic Committee said about Nadal, now we are fully optimistic about the fact that he is participating in Rio. There is no doubt about his participation. So what is needed to win the medal, and he has been showing commitment to regular training.

In addition to the singles event at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Nadal will play mixed doubles with French Open champion Garbine Muguruza. Although Nadal still suffering from problems with his left wrist injury. Due to his injury, he did not play at Wimbledon after withdrawn from the French Open.
