The 33-year-old, who has featured in just a solitary match this year (lost to Ryan Harrison) in the first round at Indian Wells, divulged that he will compete at the forthcoming events in Atlanta and Cincinnati to tune-up for the final Grand Slam of the year in New York.

My schedule this summer will be Atlanta, Cincinnati, and I will finish my career at the US Open. #lastride,” Fish wrote Wednesday, generating numerous responses from his fans all around the world.

Besides a silver medal at the Athens Olympics being the highlight of his career, the former World No. 7 reached the quarterfinals of majors on three occasions – Australian Open (2007), US Open (2008) and Wimbledon (2011).

The US Open 2015 is scheduled to kick-start from August 31 at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, Flushing Meadows.
