This guy just doesn’t like retirement, does he?

Yet again, Lleyton Hewitt will come out of retirement to participate at next week’s ATP Estoril Open. He will join forces with fellow Australian Alex Di Minaur for the doubles event.

“We have a wildcard, we have an ex-world No. 1! Lleyton Hewitt is set to come out of ‘retirement’ to play the #EstorilOpen alongside compatriot Alex de Minaur,” the tournament organizers announced on the official Twitter handle.

Hewitt, a winner of two Grand Slams and a former world No. 1, originally retired back in 2016. He, however, played a couple of doubles matches this season – with countrymen Jordan Thompson and Sam Groth at the Brisbane International and Australian Open, respectively.

The fourth edition of the Estoril Open – an ATP 250 event – is scheduled to get under way on April 30 with the likes of David Ferrer, Kevin Anderson, Pable Carreno Busta, and Kyle Edmund vying for the singles title.
