World No. 5 Kei Nishikori has revealed his schedule for the rest of this season. The Japanese superstar hopes to partake across five events, if all goes well.

In his latest blog post, the 26-year-old wrote that he intends to participate in Tokyo, Shanghai, Basel, Paris, and the ATP Finals in London, if he makes the cut.

“I will try my best in these four tournaments to qualify for London,” he wrote. “I will try to have a good preparation and do my best.”

Nishikori hasn’t played a match since losing the semi-finals of the US Open to eventual champion Stanislas Wawrinka earlier this month.

He briefly returned for the Davis Cup doubles rubber against Ukraine, but skipped singles (due to tiredness) as he watched his country qualify for the World Group draw.

The Rakuten Open in Tokyo, Nishikori’s first event since the US Open, is scheduled to kick-off on October 3.
