John Isner Hires Justin Gimelstob As New Coach for 2015 Season

Top American male tennis player, John Isner, has signed up former ATP pro and doubles-specialist, Justin Gimelstob, as his new coach for the 2015 season.

Gimelstob, 37, a two-time Grand Slam mixed doubles winner, said that he is “thrilled” to be working with the American giant for the new season.

“John is a very unique talent, a great guy both on and off the court and I am thrilled to be able to be a part of his team,” Gimelstob was quoted as saying by

Currently ranked number 19 in the men’s rankings, Isner will look to improve his 2014 win-loss record of 40-23 in the next season.

Speaking of his partnership with Gimelstob, Isner commented: “I’m really excited to start working with Justin. He has so much experience within the tennis business and I’ve long respected his knowledge of the sport.

“I think it will be great for me to have a new perspective helping me with my game.”
