World No. 3 Andy Murray has played some high-quality tennis of late. From two clay-court titles on the trot to reaching the semifinals of the prestigious French Open 2015, he’s certainly been in the best of his forms.

This seems to have impressed former U.S. Open runner-up Greg Rusedski, who insists that Murray has a fair chance of pulling off his second Wimbledon crown this year, and that he’d just be the second favourite to top-ranked Novak Djokovic.

“I think he’s got a great chance,” Rusedski told Sky Sports News. “He goes in as second favourite behind Djokovic who has to be the man to beat right now obviously being the defending champion, but Murray is healthy again and playing great.”

Rusedski, 41, also believes that Murray’s marriage to long-time girlfriend Kim Sears might continue to squirt its luck over his form.

“Since he’s been married he’s only lost one match out of 16 so I think this could possibly be his year again.”

The Wimbledon Championships is scheduled to kick off from June 29 at the well-known All England Club.
