The Roland Garros 2015 is just a few hours away. Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic are being considered clear favorites for the men’s singles title by just about all the pundits and fans.

However, former South African tennis player Cliff Dysdale made a bold prediction, labeling Roger Federer as his favourite to pull off an astonishing crown.

Dysdale, a former World No. 4 and expert commentator for ESPN, believes that the Swiss maestro can surprise his critics with a record 18th major title.

Apparently, the 73-year-old kept the draw (Nadal and Djokovic could potentially collide as early as in the quarterfinals) and Federer’s 2nd seeding in his mind while choosing his pick.

Sharapova Favourite; Lisicki Dark horse

Dysdale further added that Russia’s Maria Sharapova is more likely to emerge victorious that any of her compatriot, before naming Sabine Lisicki of Germany as the dark horse in the women’s singles event.

So, do you second Dysdale’s picks? Let us know in the comment box below.
