Australian tennis player Bernard Tomic heaped rich praise on World No. 1 Novak Djokovic for his dominance over the last few months on the men’s circuit. The top-ranked Serb won three off the four Grand Slam titles last year to sign off with an exceptional 83-6 record, which seems to have amazed Tomic.

“Novak, it’s just a joke now. It’s amazing what he’s doing. That’s the reason why he’s the best player in the world. I think he is a different level, Novak, now, and there is a reason why he’s there,” Tomic was quoted as saying by SportsFan.

“I think the other players, there are a little bit more weaknesses and stuff,” he continued. “There is a reason why Novak is the best; no weaknesses. I can’t think of any. He deserves to be there.”

The 23-year-old Tomic, who is yet to beat Djokovic in their five head-to-head meetings on the ATP World Tour, opines that even the likes of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal must be having a hard time figuring out ways to get the better of the Serb’s supremacy.

“I think even Roger and Rafa are just … when you step on the court against Novak now, it’s like: `How can you beat him?’ he said.
