3rd seed Rafael Nadal looked in glorious touch as he romped his way to the quarterfinals of the Australian Open 2015, following a solid straight-set conquest of Kevin Anderson at the Rod Laver Arena.

The fancied Spaniard scored 33 winners en route his 7-5 6-1 6-4 triumph over his big-serving counterpart from South Africa in the pre-quarterfinals on Sunday.

Up next, Nadal is slated to lock horns with 7th seed Tomas Berdych of Czech Republic, who recorded a straight-set win over local favorite Bernard Tomic 6-2 7-6 6-2 at the Margaret Court Arena.

Meanwhile, 6th seed Andy Murray peaked to his top form to pull off a 6-4 6-7 6-3 7-5 victory over 10th-seeded Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov.

He next faces the local hope Nick Kyrgios, who showed sheer maturity to beat Italian journeyman Andreas Seppi in a grueling 5-7 4-6 6-3 7-6 8-6 five-set encounter at the Hisense Arena.
