2nd seed Martin Klizan sailed into the last-four stage of the ATP Grand Prix Hassan II in Casablanca after pulling off a straight-set conquest of Spanish journeyman Nicolas Almagro on Friday.

The Slovakian southpaw won a commendable 86 percent of his first-serve points and saved as many break-point percentage on his serve to complete a 6-4 7-6 triumph in the quarterfinal battle that lasted for one hour and 34 minutes.

Moving on, he is next scheduled to lock horns with World No. 87 Damir Dzumhur of Bosnia, who clinched a stunner over 6th-seeded Austrian Andreas Haider-Maurer in the other match-up.
