World No. 2 Andy Murray is likely to give the next week’s ATP Masters event in Toronto a miss after his coach Jamie Delgado revealed that they will be heading to Mallorca later this week to prepare for the next month’s Rio Olympics.

Murray, who recently won his third Grand Slam at Wimbledon, had pulled off the last year’s title here, defeating the top-ranked Novak Djokovic in the summit round.

However, as per a tweet by sports journalist Stuart Fraser, Murray and Delgado will be moving to the Spanish city come Wednesday for two week’s training before heading to partake at the Olympic Games that begin from August 5.

“Sounds like no Toronto for Andy Murray as Jamie Delgado reveals that they are off to Mallorca on Wednesday for two weeks training before Rio,” the tweet read.

Consequently, World No. 3 Roger Federer is likely to be named the second seed, with Djokovic set to receive the top billing when the tournament begins from July 23.
