Tennis stars including Alexander Zverev, John Isner and Jelena Ostapenko took some time off practice to visit the Humane Society in Miami on Tuesday.

And guess what? Zverev immediately hit it off with Pop, a two-month-old Terrier mix, and decided to adopt him after cuddling him all the while.

“Sascha [Zverev] came into the room, Pop walked over to him and they had a major, major cuddle session. It was love at first sight,” Jossie Aguirre, marketing direction of the foundation that takes care of abandoned dogs and cats before they are adopted, was quoted as saying by ATP.

“Yeah I’m taking him along with me. And hopefully, taking him to Europe. It’s a nice thing,” Zverev said.

For those unaware, Zverev already has a pet dog named Lovik who often accompanies him to tournaments.

The canine will finally have a partner now!
