3rd seed Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland had a swift sailing to the second round of the Apia International Sydney 2015 after dominating Frenchwoman Alize Cornet 6-3 6-2 in the opening-round encounter on Monday.

The 6th-ranked Pole needed an hour and 23 minutes to avenge her last week’s loss to the same counterpart at the recently-concluded Hopman Cup 2015.

All our matches were around three hours, so I really prepare myself to really have another battle with her,” Radwanska was quoted as saying by the tournament’s official website.

Up next, Radwanska is slated to lock horns with Garbine Muguruza, who defeated Sara Errani 6-0 7-5 in the other first-round clash.
