Tainted Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova is not going to lose her match rhythm when she returns to the circuit, believes World No. 6 Agnieszka Radwanska.

Sharapova, who was banned for using meldonium following the Australian Open last year, is slated to make her comeback at the WTA Premier event in Stuttgart, Germany, starting April 24.

And, Radwanksa insists she would be dangerous as ever. “She can really play great tennis after a year break. That’s what she did the last time with her shoulder (injury),” the Pole told Sport360.com.

“I don’t think she’s going to lose the match rhythm. I think she’s going to be a dangerous opponent from the first round,” she added.

Sharapova has now plunged to No. 91 in the WTA rankings, and she could well face some of her biggest contemporaries in the early rounds. And, Radwanska is wary of it.

“You can play her in the first round, it’s going to be an interesting draw with her not being seeded. But yes, for sure it’s not going to be a good draw,” she admitted.
