Swiss tennis star, Belinda Bencic, is eyeing to make her comeback in the grass-court season, after having failed to recover from a back injury that compelled her to pull out of the prestigious Roland Garros 2016.

Bencic has been in-and-out his year due to the injury that has continued to bother her. However, the 19-year-old has already kicked-off her practice sessions to get fit in time for the grass swing.

“I have returned to training but I do not have enough energy to play at a Grand Slam,” Bencic was quoted by

She further added that all players go through rough patches in their respective careers, and that she will need about two weeks’ time to get back in shape.

“It’s something that happens to all players, it is better to withdraw if you are not prepared,” she said. “I need two weeks to be in top shape for the tour of grass.”

Bencic, the present World No. 8, is 13-9 in this year.
