Sania Mirza has responded to social media trolls ahead of the Asia Cup cricket match between traditional rivals India and Pakistan on Wednesday.

Sania, an Indian tennis star who is married to Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik, is often trolled by fans from both nations. This was exactly the case this around as well even as the 31-year-old found a way to evade them all.

Taking to her official Twitter handle, Sania revealed she has decided to take some time off social media for the next few days… perhaps until the Asia Cup ends.

“Soo less than 24hrs to go for this match, safe to sign out of social media for a few days since the amount of nonsense thts gonna b said here can make a ‘regular’ person sick, let alone a pregnant one Later guys!Knock yourselves out!BUT remember-ITS ONLY A CRICKET MATCH! Toodles!” she wrote to her 8.53 million followers.

Meanwhile, both India and Pakistan have started their campaigns with win over minnows Hong Kong. While India were made to dig deep (they won by 26 runs), Pakistan had it easy, winning by eight wickets.
