Did Serena Williams just spill the beans on planning her second child?
If Serena Williams’ latest interview is anything to go by, she will be having a second child soon.
The American tennis superstar, who is married to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, welcomed her first child, baby girl Olympia, in September last year.
And despite having made her comeback earlier this year in March, the 36-year-old doesn’t mind having another one.
It comes with a condition though: she shouldn’t be an active player.
Williams, who graced the cover of InStyle magazine, told the publication: “I don’t know if I want to play if I have another baby, but you’re right. I need to talk to Alexis. We need a plan.
“If I weren’t working, I’d already be pregnant.”
Furthermore, Williams recalled how she won the Australian Open title last year while being two months pregnant.
“I was two months pregnant. I was literally nine weeks by the end of the tournament. I was almost done with my first trimester.
“Every day that passed I thought, ‘This is a dream.’ It was like an animated Disney movie. And by the time the quarterfinals came, I was like, ‘I know I can beat this girl,’ and at the semifinals I thought, ‘I know I can win this match.’
“I didn’t think I would win the final, so when I won, it was like, ‘OK, this is crazy.’”
Williams is currently preparing for next week’s Wimbledon Championships. She has been seeded 25th in the main draw.
